Yet, the mass media now cries "foul" because Sarah Palin used the visual of gun sights with cross hairs on a map that showed the 20 Congressional Districts she is targeting (another violent word) for change in the November elections. Once again, they've moved from blatant hypocrisy to embarrassing stupidity.

Palin Responds to Letterman

David Letterman in a lame attempt at a late night joke mentioned that Sarah Palin and her daughter, Willow, had attended a baseball game in New York. His supposedly funny punch line was that the game had to be temporarily stopped while A Rod knocked up her daughter.

Concerning Letterman's comments about my young daughter (and I doubt he'd ever dare make such comments about anyone else's daughter): 'Laughter incited by sexually-perverted comments made by a 62-year-old male celebrity aimed at a 14-year-old girl is not only disgusting, but it reminds us some Hollywood/NY entertainers have a long way to go in understanding what the rest of America understands -- that acceptance of inappropriate sexual comments about an underage girl, who could be anyone's daughter, contributes to the atrociously high rate of sexual exploitation of minors by older men who use and abuse others.'"

I can remember when politican's children, even those young adults over 18, were protected by the press and by commentators. But, for some reason, the media loves to hate Sarah Palin, even when she's not running for office.
