Save this cartoon just in case any of your friends or neighbors were impressed by Obama's 'budget freeze.' First off, he is increasing the budget as much as he possibly can this year, but the freeze does not begin until next year. Secondly, he has artfully eliminated most budget items from the freeze. Third, he's already broken innumerable promises, so one can hardly believe he will live up to this one. And fourth, ALL politicans routinely and repeatedly break promises regarding spending our money. Remember "Read My Lips" H. W. Bush.
