Take Back America!

And this time it's easy - just refuse to answer the questions that are not *Constitutional whether they are asked in person or in a mail-out. Remember that in the United States, no government agent has the right to ask you anything without specific permission, such as the Constitution, a court order or a search warrant.

Watch this video clip to find out more about the Census and protecting your precious privacy.
*They have no right to ask for your race, but I still hope all of my readers, their friends, and their families will check the "Other" box and fill in AMERICAN in the spaces provided. It's time we all stood together to stop this contrived division of our country. Most of us are immigrants or descendants of immigrants who CHOSE to become Americans.

Why Did We Elect Obama?

Robin of Berkely has a thought provoking article about race relations and the Obama election at American Thinker this morning. A younger recovering liberal, she has had experiences and insights that I, an adult who didn't face forced school integration, had no knowledge of.

One quote from the article:
It wasn't the black or the white kids' fault. High minded liberals were culpable for hatching up grand plans without an iota of thought about how it would play out in real time: that if you create a nightmare situation for black children by removing them from their neighborhood and their friends, you traumatize them. And if you then turn them loose and give them carte blanche, some will be out for blood.
Forced busing ended years ago in most places. But over the decades, liberals have concocted new plans, and subjected later generations to fresh trauma.

It’s The Little Things That Reveal The Most

President Barack Obama won his election by appearing to be a messianic creature far more mature and knowledgeable than the average voter. However, occasional glimpses behind the Wizard’s curtain unnerve even his most ardent followers.

1. There was the infamous picture of him with both hands on his crotch while others on stage placed their right hands over their hearts during the national anthem. No, the picture does not absolutely reveal what’s in his heart and mind as far as patriotism goes, but it does make one wonder, especially when he was careful to place his hand over his heart when Ghana’s national anthem was played in his presence. His effusive apologies for the United States every time he goes abroad do nothing to reassure most Americans either.

2. Every popular magazine article about grieving counsels those in crisis to avoid making important decisions until some healing has occurred. Astute counselors always encourage those suffering any emotional loss to avoid making important decisions for six months to a year. Yet with Americans still reeling from the pain from losing 40% to 50% of their savings, Obama heartlessly pushes massive, drastic, society changing laws through Congress as fast as possible. And his chosen spokesman, Rahm Emmanuel gleefully claims “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” It’s almost like saying to be sure and kick the guy while he’s down.

3. The picture posted on the White House Blog (scroll down that page to see the picture) last Thursday evening reveals another unsettling glimpse behind the curtain. Obama, the self appointed savior of mankind, thoughtlessly strides ahead while his crippled friend, Dr. Gates, struggles going down the steps. Fortunately Sgt. Crowley was there. He not only forgave the man who had repeatedly called him a racist; he gallantly helped him keep his balance.

The World View of A Community Organizer

As the Obama presidency continues, he reveals more and more about himself; many observers are less than inspired. Last night he based his sales talk about his health care proposals on “victim hood.” That should surprise no one since it pervaded both his foreign policy and campaign speeches.

The interesting thing about the victims he seeks to rescue and the villains he condemns is that he categorizes them by their status, not by their actions. Thus, he apologizes for the US because it leads the world financially and he ignores the many generous and kind acts the country has done for subjugated people. Who, besides the American soldier, will lay down his life for citizens of other countries and thus put into action Jesus’ words about the greatest love?

In last night’s press conference, he bewailed the insurance companies because they make a profit, ignoring the many needs they fulfill in our economy. Similarly, Wall Street was excoriated because the profit motive underlies their activities. And, like most liberals, he ignores the fact that nearly all Americans are invested in Wall Street, depending on profitability to fund their retirement programs. Wall Street is not just the traders on the floor, but anyone with money in a mutual fund.

He also threw physicians under the bus because they tend to be in the upper middle class once they become established. He ignored the years of exacting preparation, the enormous costs of obtaining degrees and certification, and the 60+ hours of work most perform every week. He also ignored their generous attempts to help patients without regard to payment in order to accuse them of unnecessary procedures that merely enhance their bottom lines.

Then, just in case one might still doubt his status as Whiner-in-Chief, he used a planted question to viciously slander all policemen in the country and defend his friend, Prof. Gates of Harvard. Does anyone other than community organizers and criminals believe that all cops are evil?

Racial Cowards in "Academentia"

When I was advising university students on the courses they should take, a young black student came in who only wanted to take one course for the summer term. I told him that the tuition for summer school covered two classes and encouraged him to take another one to keep from wasting his money. He left in a huff and I went on to the next student in line.

Within 15 minutes an imperious black female professor insisted on interrupting my schedule to discuss a “very important matter.” She was there to tell me that I had insulted the student by assuming he could not afford to “waste” money because he was black. She came to my office to get me to apologize to him for my racial insensitivity.

I told her that all advisors were instructed to remind all students to take two courses for the summer term, unless they had an important reason to not do it.

I also informed her that of my four children, three were married: one to an Hispanic, one to a Caucasian, and one to a Black. If I were racist to any degree, that would not have happened.

She left hurriedly before I could explain that my children’s friendships and marriages resulted from judging people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. And furthermore, it happened without affirmative action, quotas, or lessons in politically correct behavior.

If Attorney General Holder is correct that we are a nation of cowards, it is because we have been taught to be cowardly by political correctness. In fact, it has been pounded into us until it’s almost impossible to discuss anything frankly and it only causes trouble.
