It’s The Little Things That Reveal The Most

President Barack Obama won his election by appearing to be a messianic creature far more mature and knowledgeable than the average voter. However, occasional glimpses behind the Wizard’s curtain unnerve even his most ardent followers.

1. There was the infamous picture of him with both hands on his crotch while others on stage placed their right hands over their hearts during the national anthem. No, the picture does not absolutely reveal what’s in his heart and mind as far as patriotism goes, but it does make one wonder, especially when he was careful to place his hand over his heart when Ghana’s national anthem was played in his presence. His effusive apologies for the United States every time he goes abroad do nothing to reassure most Americans either.

2. Every popular magazine article about grieving counsels those in crisis to avoid making important decisions until some healing has occurred. Astute counselors always encourage those suffering any emotional loss to avoid making important decisions for six months to a year. Yet with Americans still reeling from the pain from losing 40% to 50% of their savings, Obama heartlessly pushes massive, drastic, society changing laws through Congress as fast as possible. And his chosen spokesman, Rahm Emmanuel gleefully claims “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” It’s almost like saying to be sure and kick the guy while he’s down.

3. The picture posted on the White House Blog (scroll down that page to see the picture) last Thursday evening reveals another unsettling glimpse behind the curtain. Obama, the self appointed savior of mankind, thoughtlessly strides ahead while his crippled friend, Dr. Gates, struggles going down the steps. Fortunately Sgt. Crowley was there. He not only forgave the man who had repeatedly called him a racist; he gallantly helped him keep his balance.
