Discouraged?

Americans are action people. We like to see the results from our efforts and the sooner the better. Prayer is a stronger force, but it requires more effort. And it usually takes much longer than we think necessary to see the results. On top of that, the results often come disguised so that we hardly recognize them.

Use the impetus of Lent to pray for the conversion of our political leaders -- after you've phoned and/or emailed them.

Pray by yourself, start a prayer group, or join a virtual group. Here are two possibilities:
