Acorn Is The Tip of The Iceberg

Yesterday's Washington Examiner had an excellent editorial calling on Congress to investigate ACORN because of the video tapes, numerous criminal and civil suits in several states, and newly discovered evidence of corruption in Louisiana and Oklahoma. Although I have little faith in our current crop of Congressional Clowns, I suppose they might possibly have the courage to at least cut off all federal funding of their projects and cancel all federal contracts with them.

The problem lies in ACORN tentacles that extend into around 300 allied groups. If one group disbands, the officers and projects just move over to another group to pursue the same goals. We need a mighty and virtuous Hercules to finally annihilate this Lernaean Hydra that grows two heads every time one is cut off.
