If My People, XXIV

In the tender compassion of our God the dawn from on high shall break upon us, to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death, and to guide our feet into the way of peace. Luke 1:78, 79
Catholics read this every day as the concluding passage of morning prayer and every morning, I revel in the term "tender compassion." How marvelous to be reminded as the day begins that God Himself has more than compassion for us; He has tender compassion. And certainly, all of us here on earth in the church militant dwell in the midst of spiritual darkness and need guidance to find peace personally, with our family, and in our country. Please continue to pray for our country.
