Beware of All Health Care Bills

"The fact is, this proposal will never come before the Senate. But what we do know is that the bill written behind closed doors here in the Capitol will be another 1,000-page, trillion-dollar Washington takeover. We know it will slash a half-trillion dollars from seniors’ Medicare, add new taxes and raise premiums. That’s not reform.” said Mitch McConnell after the Health Care Reform vote by the Senate Finance committee yesterday.

The bottom line is that none of the five bills under consideration in the House and Senate will be good for Americans. None of them reform current problems. All of them will extend federal meddling in everyday affairs of individuals, all will kill the health insurance industry sooner or later, all will cost at least five times what the proponents are admitting now, and all will add a huge new layer of bureaucrats between the citizen and his physician. None of them will "save" money and none of them even pretends to cover all of the people currently uninsured.

So they're insisting we pay more money for less medical care, while they craft sections and paragraphs of legalese that will exempt them from having to abide by the law they're trying to cram down our throats.
