If My People, XXX

Then said Jesus, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."
And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. Luke 23: 34-35

Pray today for the grace to forgive, the most difficult part of the Christian life. Mother Angelica of EWTN pointed out some time ago that we haven't forgiven until, like Jesus, we make excuses for those who hurt us, even when they don't desire or deserve it. When we do, the fog in our own head clears, our own personalities heal, and we give the other person/people a chance to change for the better. Let us not imprison our enemies in their misguided deeds. Set them free to experience God's love also.
