Verdict First, Evidence Afterwards

The San Francisco Examiner has a great editorial today about the “climate change” hearings in the US House last week . (Read Gore Refuses Global Warming Debate for some background information.) They conclude that Congress is determined to pass laws regulating emissions (i.e. Cap and Trade legislation) regardless of whether Global Warming is a threat or not. Some Legislators see Cap and Trade as a cash cow for revenue, despite its estimated costs to American Taxpayers.

Someone needs to remind them of end of the story about The Goose That Laid a Golden Egg.
